Thank you for taking the time to check us out before we actually meet in person or virtually (thank you, COVID-19). We put this pre-listing appointment guide together for several reasons. 1) To be respectful of your time (taking 10 minutes now, will save us an hour later), 2) to familiarize you with us, our services and key competitive differences and, 3) we want to make sure you have a chance to gather any information so that when we meet, we can appropriately answer your questions.

Our number one priority when we meet is to listen. As brokers, we tend to talk a lot. If we are transparent now (before we meet), we can have a real conversation, loaded with questions and less of a sales-type atmosphere.

Over the course of 20 years (licensed since 2000), we have learned so much about what home sellers are looking for in a listing agent. Mostly, it comes down to five (5) things: market knowledge, setting a realistic listing price, track record of results, how are you going to sell my house and intangibles. We believe that total transparency is always better than a polished sales pitch so we have assembled.  That being said, we have put together a few links that will address several of the generic items. Situation and property specific items would need to be addressed at the actual appointment. While your situation is unique, we have found that addressing many things in advance puts home sellers at ease and that they don’t have to worry about what was spoken but rather something that was in writing (and can be referenced at any time). We will provide Comparative Market Analysis (CMA) for reference as well (print and/or digital).

Please don’t worry about having the links below available when we meet. We will make everything available but will try to avoid being redundant with things you understand fully. We would like to spend more time on the items that are of interest to you or need additional clarification when we meet in person (or virtually).

When we meet, we will be prepared to answer any questions that you may have. We will also provide a comparative market analysis with a value range and provide a market trending summary. The market trending summary is a critical component for pricing your home and in the timeframe that you desire. Additionally, we will not in any way pressure you into a decision. If we did a good enough job in presenting our value, our expertise and past successes, we feel that ‘pressure’ is completely unnecessary.
